25 Years of Thought Provoking Music Deserves to be Celebrated

David Ippolito is Celebrating 25 Years of Being “That Guitar Man® from Central Park” at Symphony Space on April 1st at 7:30 pm.

According to the press release: “THE CONCERT CELEBRATES MR. IPPOLITO’S LONG & COLORFUL HISTORY PERFORMING IN CENTRAL PARK AND MAY SERVE AS THE FIRST IN A STRING OF FINAL PERFORMANCES FOR THE BELOVED NYC PERFORMER.”

Ippolito is an award winning singer/songwriter. Reportedly this concert will not only be a joyous celebration of That Guitar Man’s History but also a festive kick off to a new age; as Ippolito turns more of his attention to his career as a playwright.

Ippolito’s music has met the ears of such greats as Yoko Ono, Sting, Jerry Seinfeld, Bruce Willis and Senator Bill Bradley (to name but a few). As he transitions from writing song lyrics to theatrical scenes, Ippolito has no plans to abandon his global audience.  Whether through music or theater, Ippolito’s loyal fans will continue to be entertained by his voice and “possibility-junkie” words of hope.

Reportedly: “His concerts range from a fun mix of his original tunes about love and life, to political humor and satire, to an evening in which he musically tells the inspirational story of how he overcame his personal demons and began living a life beyond his wildest dreams. On April 1, he will share the stage with fellow-artists George Wurzbach (Modern Man), Teresa Reynolds, Chris Tedesco, Dan Paccione, Russ DeBonis (Hidden Driveway) and Roger Bartlett (original lead guitarist of Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band).”
