Ross & Rachel

ROSS & RACHEL takes an unflinching look at love through one of pop culture’s most enduring couples at Brits Off Broadway at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to host the US premiere of ROSS & RACHEL, written by James Fritz and directed by Thomas Martin, at Brits Off Broadway. Produced by MOTOR.

ROSS & RACHEL tells the mind-bending, heartbreaking story of what happens when a couple that was always meant to be together, gets together. And stays together.

Olivier Award-nominated playwright James Fritz (Four Minutes Twelve Seconds at the Hampstead Theatre/West End) takes an unflinching look at the myths of modern love. Molly Vevers reprises her award-winning performance fresh from the show’s critically acclaimed sold-out world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015, where the play was called “a virtuosic piece of writing, playful, post-modern and devastatingly serious, all at once” by Time Out Edinburgh.

The production design is by Alison Neighbour. The sound design is by John McLeod. The production stage manager is Cressa Amundsen.

ROSS & RACHEL begins performances on Tuesday, May 17 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 5.  Press opening is Sunday, May 22 at 3:30 PM.  The performance schedule is Tuesday – Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM.
