Now – May 15: ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN by Eric Bentley. Produced by Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. Performance schedule: Saturday, May 14 at 2 PM; Sunday, May 15 at 3 PM. Tickets: $25

Eric Bentley’s riveting drama based on the infamous HUAC hearings in the 1950’s.

Now – May 22: MURROW by Joseph Vitale, directed by Jeremy Williams. With Joseph Menino. Produced by Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. Performance schedule: Wednesday – Sat at 8 PM; Sunday 22 at 3 PM; added performance on Tuesday, May 17 at 8 PM. Tickets: $25. Joseph Menino stars in the American premiere covering Murrow’s rise from the beginnings of Columbia Broadcasting Systems to onsite reports of the 1940’s bombing of London.

May 27 – June 6 at 8 PM (no show June 1): EVERY ANGEL IS BRUTAL by Julia Jarcho, directed by Knud Adams. With Jiehae Park, Susannah Perkins, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jenny Seastone Stern, Pete Simpson and Amelia Workman. In this pitch-black comic thriller, three American coeds are recruited to serve their country undercover in Berlin, and have the time of their lives.

June 11 – June 21 at 8 PM (no show June 15): THE TOMB OF KING TOT by Eric Dufault. directed by Portia Krieger. With Brad Bellamy, Nick Choksi, Bianca Crudo, Carmen M. Herlihy and Annie McNamara.

An ambitious regionally-syndicated cartoonist gets good news (she’s a finalist for an award!) and bad news (her daughter did something very, very terrible).

June 27 – July 9 at 8 PM (no shows July 3 & 4): TUMACHO by Ethan Lipton, directed by Leigh Silverman. With Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Bill Buell, John Ellison Conlee, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Gibson Frazier, Omar Metwally, Jeremy Shamos and Danny Wolohan.

Once again, the citizens of a frontier outpost are looking for someone to rescue them from the terrors of the local villain.
